NEW POLICY: Please read before climbing
As of April 1, 2010, everyone who climbs at Summit must fill out a new liability release waiver (even if you have climbed at Summit before). This must be done every time you visit Summit, or you may purchase a "Climber Card" for $5 (free for Summit members) and not have to fill out a waiver for an entire year, unless of course you forget or lose your "Climber Card".
Lead Climbers
As of April 1, 2010, if you would like to lead climb you must fill out a lead climbing waiver. In addition to this, lead climbers must be checked out by a member of our staff, and if the certification is passed climbers will receive a lead climbing tag which can be worn on their harnesses. This lead certification never expires and is of course valid only at Summit Climbing Gym. Other climbing gyms will most likely have you go through their own certification process.
